Veronica Lake Details

I was reading through celebrity news and saw that actress Veronica Lake had a birthday on that day. I was not familiar with her, but I recognized the name and there was a photo of her. What a great portrait she would make! In order to get it done by the end of the day, her birthday, I had to start it immediately and hurry to get it done, scanned, and posted in just a few hours. It turned out really nice, I think.

Art Subject Details
Veronica Lake was an American actress. She was born on November 14th, 1922. Her real name was Constance. Her most known movies seem to be "Sullivan's Travels" and "The Blue Dahlia". She was also known for a 'peekaboo' hairstyle, and was called the peek-a-boo girl. I didn't use a photo of her with that hair style in this piece so maybe I should do another portrait.
